Our Favorite Things

I struggle finding nice clothes for my kids.

When my boys were younger, it was really hard to find nice, dressy clothing for them that fit well, was high quality, and didn’t prominently feature sports, construction trucks or farm equipment. With my daughter – despite the fact that girl clothing has way, way more choices – it can be tricky to find stuff that isn’t too over-the-top: ruffles, bows, glitter and tulle…all in one outfit? Where are the traditional, simple, classic dresses, that don’t feel like they’ll fall apart after one wear?

This reputation is the result of a strong commitment to quality, incomparable fabrics, exclusive designs, and attention to detail. Feldman Brothers designs reflect the elegance of vintage styling for children from newborn through toddler, including babies take-home attire, layette needs, sacred occasion gowns and accessories, holiday wear, and special occasion wear. Feldman Brothers use of embroidery is a skilled craft and trade, one that Philippine mothers pass down to their daughters, working on machines that are almost 100 years old. Feldman Brothers is, and always has been, a family business, now three generations deep. The company will celebrate its 100 year anniversary in 2016.

It’s not just words either – the quality of our Feltman Brothers dress is superb, with intricate, delicate and beautiful detailing. Their clothing isn’t over-the-top, but instead very classic, traditional and just plain gorgeous. I already know this dress will be worn as often as possible while our little girl can fit into it – I can already see it with a cardigan for Thanksgiving, or just perfect for Easter. The best part? They don’t just make girls clothing – they have a variety of beautiful clothes for boys too!
